I  write about dogs, and my love of dogs also influences the way I tell other stories.  Whether I’m writing for Guideposts magazine or Chicken Soup for the Soul, my little spaniel Kelly helps me to see the world with a dog’s eye view.

She also teaches me how to work like a dog:  approach whatever I do with gusto, dig for the good stuff,  and take time off to play.
